You might also want to consider the following media platforms when presenting your work. A range of media forms will basically get you more marks...

Animoto
Prezi
Slideshare
Storyboard That
Powtoon
Flickr
Surveymonkey

Regular Vlogs uploaded to Vimeo or Youtube will also help your case (but make sure they are insightful and reflexive).

You can use these to present both research and planning. The more inventive you are, the better. Make sure you use something multi-media with everything you post, even if it's just images. But remember...
  • Make sure you are researching and planning for your main product and two ancillary products together
  • Explain and analyse everything.
    • Don't just post stuff without analysing it. Both research and planning need to be clearly explained
    • Make sure that everything you do, however seemingly minimal, is blogged. For example
      • Changes to storyboards
      • Make-up/ costume tests
      • Audience/ market research
      • Test footage
      • Location scouting
      • Early drafts of sections
      • Reflections on work in progress
  • Everything you research, explain how it's developing your ideas about your final piece
  • Everything you plan, explain how it links to your research (either link back to blog posts or expain your ideas)
  • Make sure you regularly refer to the evaluation questions (you can start working on these from day 1)
  • Make sure you regularly reflect on the five skills you will be asked about for question 1a
    • You need to be able to explain how you have developed, so make sure you note down how you have got better
  • Make sure you regularly refer to the five Key Concepts you will be studying for question 1b in your exam
