You should now have a completed breakdown for your music video and a detailed storyboard. You need to now construct a production schedule, including details of cast, crew, locations and other resources that you will need. This will also include information about camera/ tripod loans. You will also (all of you) need to produce and upload some test footage linked to your project:

• Rob – you need to demonstrate that your Sin City effect will work
• Abbas/ Emily – you need to demonstrate that you can effectively film the race aspects of your video
• Ruth – you need to show that the split-screen aspects will work

By the end of the week, you should have uploaded to your blogs:
• Production schedule
• Call sheets
• Lists of resources you will need (human and otherwise)
• Booking sheets
• Location details
• Experimental footage

This should keep you busy for a fair stack of time. Prior warning – next week I will be asking you to produce preliminary materials tying your video in to your two ancillary products, so you will need to find some research (magazine adverts and digipacks). You can scan these yourself, or find the digi-packs via megasearch.net; you will not find the magazine adverts online unless you are lucky, so you will have to get hold of music magazines/ papers; if you don’t have these yourselves, ask around.
